Ukraine through the eyes of natural scientists

That is why the Ministry of the Environment has joined with the Charity of the Czech Republic to set up a collection for post-war environmental restoration in Ukraine and installed the exhibition "Ukraine through the eyes of natural scientists", which you can see in front of the KCP building (near the Vyšehrad Business Centre) until mid-December.

Prague Congress Centre pulls back covide loss and proves its strategic importance for Prague
The coronavirus pandemic has significantly affected the functioning of the Prague Congress Centre (PCC) in 2021. This represents an increase of 11% compared to the previous year. The year 2021 was a record year for PCC in terms of the number of visitors, thanks to the location of the Metropolitan Vaccination Centre of the Capital City of Prague. This served over 100,000 people in its six months of operation. The PCC itself welcomed 34,000 participants to congresses, conferences and cultural events last year. At present, preparations for the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU are at their peak and congress operations are gradually being restored.
Opening of the charging hub for electric cars

The Wall in concert - change of date
Dear fans, we are sorry to inform you that the concert has been moved to February 11, 2023. Please read the note of the organizer of the concert.
"Dear Audience, we were happy to welcome you back to our concerts after 2 years of Covid to experience great entertainment again with all our artists we have signed for you.
Unfortunately, we have to postpone the concerts due to regular covid infection cases in the crew and orchestra and the resulting isolation conditions. We can now no longer guarantee that you will be able to enjoy our full program without compromises.
Therefore we postpone the concert "THE WALL IN CONCERT" at 20h in Prague Congress Center with a heavy heart, but we are already looking forward to the carefree enjoyment in the future without mask and pandemic - and hopefully our regular orchestras, which also had to be replaced due to Corona as well as the war in Ukraine. We assume that from soon on all concerts will be possible again completely and without restrictions - and we will be able to welcome you then with joy! The new date is Saturday, Feb.11th, 2023 with the same times."
Statement on the cancellation of EBTM and ELCC events
The upcoming events The 48th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Blood and Marrow and the European Lung Cancer Congress were unfortunately moved from being held at the Prague Congress Centre (PCC) to online space, as the main Congress Hall at the PCC is currently being used by the refugee centre for people from Ukraine. After reconsidering all possibilities, including the option to hold the events in a different venue, the organizers decided to go for virtual events only. The team of the PCC is deeply sorry for all inconveniences as these conventions were long awaited and planned. The team cannot influence the security situation in Europe other than by helping the people in need.

The Rock Orchestra concert - canceled
Dear fans of The Rock Orchestra, please read bellow the statement from the organizer in regards to the cancelation of the concert.
Dear Guest,
We have been so excited to bring The Rock Orchestra to Prague next week. Sadly, due to reasons outside of our control, it is impossible for us to perform for you on the 25th March 2022. As a result, we are left without option but to cancel the concert and offer a full refund to everyone that has bought tickets.
The ticket company you bought tickets from will automatically process the refunds and there is nothing you need to do. Please allow up to 10 days for this refund to appear in your bank account.
We are heartbroken that we cannot come to your beautiful city but we promise we will be back soon.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
 The Rock Orchestra
The course of congresses at the PCC in regards to the refugee centre operated at the PCC

We are proud to help in the current crisis. The Help Centre for Ukrainian Refugees in Prague has been moved to our venue. The Help Centre is limited mainly to the ground floor and depending on the current needs, it also uses the Congress Hall. We are in close contact with the organizers of events held in the next two months at the Prague Congress Centre and we solve together all aspects of hosting those events.

The PCC building has a great disposition for holding various events at the same time and the experienced PCC team excels in solving difficult situations. The PCC building has 11 entrances, and the building can be divided into 3 separate parts - Congress, Southern and Forum - so there is no interaction between participants of events held in different parts of the building.

If any changes occur, we will inform about it on our web.

2019 Little Flashback
The end of one year and the beginning of another deserves at least a small recap. To start with, the Prague Congress Centre had a very successful year. In its majestic premises took place numerous major congresses that organizer and visitors will remember for a long time. The year began with the European Congress of Haemophilia and Associated Disorders (EAHAD 2019) with a record number of delegates, followed by the congress of the European Academy of Sports Science with the traditional Saltin run to honor this pioneer of sports physiology. And literally life-saving annual European Congress for Emergency Medicine (EUSEM 2019) took place at the PCC. But it was not just a year of major congresses.
PCC is also a centre of cultural events. There are so many layers in our music, underneath the huge drums and guitars,” explains Amy Lee of Evanescence. “I’ve always wanted to shine a light on some of the gorgeous David Campbell arrangements and programming elements in our songs, and that idea snowballed into completely re-doing them with full orchestra, not just strings, elaborate programming and experimentation. This will be our first-time touring with orchestra and I’m so excited to perform this way-really focus on the vocals, and the emotion and the story we’ve built over the years. This project really means a lot to me. Underneath the sound of drums and guitars, there are innumerable layers in our music, says singer Amy Lee.

The whole event had a great attendance and offered a lot of business opportunities. Martina Fundaro, who represents Prague Convention Bureau did a great job. We attended an associations evening through ICCA and hosted a breakfast on 12.10. So far, we received at least 3 requests. I also believe that the presentation of our new to-be exhibition hall was interesting and that our new exhibition spaces which should be available within four years will bring us more interesting international meetings. The next IMEX is planned at Mandalay Bay and we are already looking forward to being able to present the PCC,” says Roman Ray Straub.
