Half a Century of Doctors Without Borders: Visit the Exhibition Outside the PCC
12. 10. 2026
On the northern terrace of the Prague Congress Centre, just a few steps from the Vyšehrad metro station exit, you can explore the photographic exhibition Half a Century of Doctors Without Borders. It showcases more than fifty years of providing assistance to people in crisis-affected areas around the world.
The photographs capture key milestones as well as the day-to-day work of teams delivering medical care to people affected by armed conflicts, epidemics and natural disasters. The exhibition highlights, for example, the organisation’s response to earthquakes in Haiti and its care for patients with Ebola. It also offers a glimpse into what it takes to deliver medical assistance where it is needed most.
The work of Doctors Without Borders is guided by the principles of independence, neutrality and impartiality. The organisation provides assistance based on people’s needs, regardless of their origin, religion or political beliefs.
Stop by as you pass or combine your visit to the exhibition with a walk around Vyšehrad. We invite you to discover the stories of those who provide help and those who need it.
